Scholarships
Post 353 offers scholarships to high school seniors in the Mustang area,
including students from Mustang High School, Union City High School, Western Heights High School,
and homeschoolers within these districts. To apply, fill out and submit per the directions on the form.
2025 applications are Due May 1, 2025

Boys State is coming May 24-May 31, 2025
American Legion Boys State is scheduled for the week of Memorial Day 2025 at Rogers State University, Claremore, OK. Check in will be Saturday May 24 and check out May 31, 2025. Boys State is open to all High School Junior boys. We encourage all High School Junior boys to enroll and take advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. “The week that shapes a lifetime.”
The cost is $349 per delegate, and Mustang Post 353 will pay for all delegates that attend. Sign on to okboysstate.com, it contains an application, instruction pages for both the delegates and parents. It explains in detail what to expect, what to and not to bring, how to be involved, and the activities. There will also be a store where forgotten items, souvenirs, and snacks may be purchased.
Post 353 encourages all High School Junior boys to go online at okboysstate.com, fill out the registration form, and email it to Adjutant@MustangPost353.org or mail it to American Legion Post 353, PO Box 551, Mustang, OK 73064. You will be given an authorization number by Post 353 to complete the application.
When you register, we ask that both the delegate and parents consider this a firm commitment to attend. When you complete the application and are given an authorization number, Mustang Post 353 will pay $349 for that delegate.
